Are you staring at your clothes feeling an extra kind of stressed? Don't let a photo session stress you out. Here are a few tips to keep in mind when planning your outfits.
Comfort
Make sure your clothing isn't too tight where it doesn't make you feel too great. Also, make sure it isn't too baggy that its hiding your figure. Do a quick test by sitting down and getting back up off the floor to make sure you'll be comfortable out in the field.
Colors
Organic tones are always more flattering on and off camera. Browns, reds, blues, whites, etc. Avoid bright or neon colors since they typically do not show very well in images. Another thing to keep in mind is the location. If you are going to a green woodland, maybe wear any other color but green.
Avoid Graphics
Having cartoons or brand graphics across the photo is usually not eye-pleasing.
Hats Add Some Fun
Floppy bohemian hats can be a cute addition to a session to really set a tone. This could apply to other hats as well, such as cowboy hats, etc.

Mood
Your photographer has their own style, which reflects in the image moods. Do they shoot dark and moody images, or do they use light and airy vibes? It would be a good idea to make sure your image is cohesive with a blending mood, color pallet, and outfit.
Be Yourself
Dude, if you want to wear your favorite AC/DC shirt and some ripped jeans because that is what you want, DO IT! I am all for wearing your personality. Be you, because your photo session is for you. These images will be associated with how you felt during your session, so make it yours.
